I bet you’ve noticed a bit of a change. 
I’m in the (very scary) process of moving from my free hosting at wordpress.com to my paid hosting using hostgator.com.
Now, I have never messed with CSS and barely used an ftp. Therefore this is very scary and AHHH, but I’m learning. My fellow geeks will understand how it feels to finally learn how to do something you couldn’t before like using code, ftp, servers, etc.
So please pardon the mess as I play around with the theme, add in links, and probably break something. All will be sorted out soon enough.

Good luck. I am in the same boat. I just set up my wordpress blog sans wordpress.com the other day. I learned that 1. it is not that hard and 2. i have a lot to learn.
Wow, I was looking at places to maybe “host” my blog too! Now, I see I am not alone in not understanding CSS, etc.
