Web Video: What works and What doesn’t?

-Generally, shorter is better (2-5 minutes)

-Avoid slick, over produced commercials.

-Engage your audience with what they want (information? Humor? Examples or Demonstrations?)

-Honesty, always Honesty. (testimonial, messages from employees, owners)

-Lure viewers to your site. (coupon offers, other videos, more details, sales, etc.)

One-Offs vs. Serials

-Serials only if you have a wealth of on going content (a great way to keep customers engaged and current)

-One-offs for most things
