Ode to My Black Flats

Now, I’m not a huge shoe fan. I mean, I like shoes. I think they are cool and fun. But I’m not someone who would drool over Jimmy Choos or pay that much money for a pair. But, when I find some good, cute, comfy shoes I have to tell the world.

I have worn my previous pairs of black flats to the ground. They are simple, go with everything, and were comfy. Yesterday, I was shopping at my favorite shoe store Shi by Journeys looking for a new pair of black flats. I didn’t see many, as apparently it’s boots season. The very nice saleswoman brought a few pairs of her favorites for me to try.

Let me just tell you, that as soon as I put on these shoes I almost squeed I was so happy. And completely surprised to have my feet feel so comfy in a shoe that wasn’t a tennis shoe!

I haven’t taken them off since I got them. (Ok, I didn’t sleep in them, But you get the point.) Now, please know that what feels great on my feet, may not work for you. So don’t come yelling at me if you don’t like them, k? I’m just sharing a pair of shoes I love in hope you’ll love them too!
