I was messing about on Twitter (which is a big reason why this blog is so neglected. I’m sorry.) and I saw a tweet by Rebecca Jones linking to a very entertaining review of the Twlight Movie.
This review made laugh. It was just honest. And I think spot on. And funny. I saw Twilight
I’ve read Twilight
I know there are Twilight fans who read my blog who won’t be happy with me. Whatever. I don’t care. I respect the series for what it is. Young Adult fantasy that won’t live on past the final movie. (ouch. even I cringed at that one. oh well…)
Don’t get me started on the fact that they are planning, shooting, and releasing the “New Moon” movie in under a year. Crazy they are. That will be interesting to see how they butcher that book.
And would you PLEASE stop comparing Twilight to Harry Potter? Twilight isn’t even close to the same quality.

I had the exact same reaction to the last book in the Twilight series!! Suddenly, like some weird switch I didn’t know existed was thrown and my politics didn’t agree with Meyer’s and it was totally obvious and I couldn’t even force myself to finish the book!! Thank you for making me realize I am not the only one out there like that.
I felt the exact same way when I read Breaking Dawn, it just didn’t flow as a story, she (much too obviously) kept trying to make the perfect ending, it didn’t feel like she had her last book planned from the start, which is exactly what I love about J.K Rowling.
I’ve now found myself hating the twilight series more and more as I hear everyone constantly voicing their obsession for, I used to actually like the books, but they’ve been ruined for me!
Cannot wait for the twilight spoof movie!!
