The best way to sum me up is: I’m a Blogger, Literature Nerd, and Tech Geek.
Blogger: I love the idea of blogging. We are the citizen journalists. With Twitter I have found out that things were happening, way before the main news got them. This is a good thing, as we are aware of how the main news media spins the stories. But it is also a bad thing as you can pretty much guarantee that if you act rudely, or do something scandalous someone will put it on the Internet. There is a good and bad side to everything right?
Literature Nerd: I love Harry Potter. I work on the news site, The-Leaky-Cauldron.org. We were rated #2 in Entertainment Weekly’s Best of Web issue. Harry Potter is the reason I got into this Internet world. I also just really love to read. Sitting down with a good book in a big comfy chair is my idea of a wonderful afternoon.
Tech Geek: I love technology. I’m always curious to see what’s new in Tech and play with it if I’m lucky enough. I follow the blog Gizmodo.com. I also really love the idea of New Media (podcasting, twitter, social networking, etc.)
